What Traditions Will My Son Learn In Boy Scouts
There are so many things that young boys learn in boy scouts. They learn about tying knots, camping, building fires, and other things that boys really enjoy doing. They will remember these things for the rest of their lives, but the most important traditions they will learn in boy scouts are building friendships, respect, and responsibility.
Many of their best friends are going to be in their scout troops. They will learn a lot together and do a lot of fun things together. They will grow up together as friends, and those are strong bonds.
They will learn respect. They will learn to respect their leaders. They will learn to respect their country. They will learn to respect other people. They will learn to be respectful during competitions. Respect is such an admirable tradition for a young boy to have.
Responsibility is not always something that kids learn, but in the boy scouts these young boys learn early about responsibilities. They learn to set goals and they achieve those goals. Traditionally we think to save responsibilities for adults, but in boy scouts they are responsible for getting their badges, attending community service activities and attending scouts.
Boy Scouts instills a lot of great traditions.
