Official Site of BSA Troop 1134, Roswell, GA

Next meeting of the Scouting Fall season will be this
Monday Nov 17th, at an alternate site to be announced
Starting in December, we start meeting in the old church sanctuary
6:30 pm - Patrol Leader Council meets before Monday meetings
7 to 8:30 pm, our regular Monday meeting time
Board of Reviews as well as break out sessions
Christmas Tree Orders are due now - please contact Mr. Mehall ASAP if you want to reserve one of these great trees for your family or others

Blue cards are available in .PDF format here under Forms and Handouts/Merit Badges. If you need a Board of Review or Scoutmaster Conferences, wear your full uniform and bring your Scout manual and any documentation.

December Indian Lodge - December 14 & 15 - Climbing, Shooting Safety, & more 

Plan Ahead:  Annual Family Ski Trip set for February 14, 15 and 16, 2009

Frisbee Tourney & Campout - Feb 22, we will compete with a high school team and a middle school team

High Adventure Spots Open

Florida Seabase, Spring Break, April 4-14, 2009 ($100 due now, less than $1000, Keys Adventure - staying in lodge and going on a mix of fishing, sailing, snorkeling, survivor island, history & travel adventures). We have openings for 1 or 2 adults, 2 scouts. Opportunity will close on December 5th, 2008.

Philmont, June 12-27, 2009. We have openings for 8 scouts and 2 adults. Opportunity will close on November 27th, 2008. ($320.50 due now, $272 in spring + travel arrangements TBD).

CHRISTMAS TREES! 
Christmas Trees and Wreaths orders are now due - Contact Mr. Mehall if you have questions about this annual sale - we've had great quality and service from our grower...very dependable.

Remember that all your flyer distribution time at home and church count towards your sales and credit for your scout accounts. Those that distribute flyers get credit from sales on their scout accounts - dollars used to pay for camp, high adventure, and other activities.

TIP:  Did you know that Troop 1134 has a "everything needed for first class" box stored in the closet?  So,...Patrol Leader Challenge:  Check out the Rank Chart of your patrol on this website (look in Advancement Trail) or the Troop Bulletin Board.  Target the Boy Scouts in your patrol that are Scouts, Tenderfoot & 2nd Class and put the "everything needed for first class" box to use.  The Patrol that advances the most scouts (to any rank) from now (Sept 29th) until the Court of Honor on December 8th with be in for a special treat!!
